Defined Radio :
Complementary files
Zip file containing spreadsheet
files mentioned in the text.
Zip file containing audio (WAV)
files to demonstrate what an SRD radio can sound like.
NOTE: These files have been recorded at a 48kHz sampling
rate and need to be played back at that rate. Although they
are WAV files, they are not intended to be played back using
Windows Media Player. They are uncompressed I and Q files that
are designed to be played using SDR software, such as PowerSDR,
Rocky, KGKDSR etc (see the SDR chapter for how to get the relevant
sofware). The files are uncompressed since PC audio compression
tehniques simply do not preserve the phase relationship between
the I and Q signal essential for an SDR.
Video file (AVI) of
a talk that Phil Harman, VK6APH gave about SDR at Dayton.
